I am currently approaching my final term (spring 2019) at ArtCenter College of Design as a transportation design major.
Growing up in Eugene, Oregon, I found myself continually captivated by designs in motion. I fell in love with cars at a young age, and the passion for all design and aesthetics began to magnify and intensify for transportation with time. This obsession with the beauty and dynamism in vehicles ultimately led me to peruse a career in design. Because of this, I continue to use automotive forms and proportions as inspiration despite having grown into yacht design roles. I find that all of my passions merge with yachts. Yacht design requires critical thinking, problem solving and creativity on a scale that excites and inspires me daily—it’s like designing a big sexy sculpture you can live in! This is where you're no longer creating just a mode of transportation, you're creating a destination, a feeling, a state of existence. This to me is a rewarding challenge and incredibly fun!
Ultimately, my goal in life is to have as much fun as I can while creating and bringing my gifts and these images to life for others to enjoy.
